It was built with new materials, iron and glass. Its original function has been retained. Following the erection of the Pula Arsenal in the mid 19th century, a fast and numerous construction of various structures began. The Pula market was erected at the time, a true construction miracle and one of the most beautiful examples of the Secession. Located in the centre of Pula, the erection of the indoor part of the market began in 1902. It was officially opened on 18 October 1903. Modern materials such as iron and glass were used for the first time in the construction of the Pula market. The walls of this unique Secession structure consist of almost exclusively semi-circular constructive iron bearers manufactured in the Witkovice Ironworks, and glass surfaces, naturally. We must say that there is friendly and helpful staff, ready to accommodate with special requirements in a combination of dishes include very good open wines. The biggest value that you can get is reasonable prices for high-quality food. We had perfect dinner at this cute place. Also, we had a excellent service, gourmet restaurant, view on outdoor pools which are just part of the Meneghetti magic. So nice place, so well designed, interior, outside big vineyards and olive trees gardens, so many small details that make the place gorgeous. Food was delicious, the service superb and very helpful. HOUSE SPECIALTIES IN TAVERN WITH FAMILY TRADITION THAT LASTS IN JADRUHI

ISTRIADUCTION  All Year | Working time: 12:30–21h | Free Entrance We visited tavern which is located in the village Jadruhi at Vižinada. We wanted to eat authentic and traditional dishes, prepared according to traditional recipes, so we made a reservation for Agritourism Jadruhi. First of all, we ate Istrian prosciutto, goat cheese, and delicious ham. After that, they offered us homemade pasta "pljukanci", gnocchi, "maneštra" soup and medium rare beef with truffles we made a decision to try all. After a lunch, we drank a few homemade grappas with different flavors. Tips: Try to order "Supa", this is a specialty that consists of hot wine, usually Teran, which is enriched with olive oil, sugar, salt, pepper and a slice of overdone bread. ISTRIAN AGRITOURISM OPEN DOOR DAYS IN SVETI MARTIN NEAR LABIN

ISTRIADUCTION  In November | Working time: As Agreed | Free Entrance   On Saturdays and Sundays in November Agritourism farms of Istrian County organize Agritourism Open Door Day. We visited Kaštel Pineta agritourism from Sveti Martin near Labin. The peaceful place is surrounded by a pine forest and in the middle is a large house with a tower that once belonged to the noble family Battiala - Lazzarini. When we arrived in Pineta agrotourism first we entered Baron’s yard, surrounded by chestnut trees and local cellars. After we entered the tavern we were welcomed by a homemade "rakija" and a warm ambiance. There is special offer these days a menu of three sequences with a glass of wine. we first ate a polenta of freshly picked mushrooms with a great sauce and glass of wine. After the fine polenta, the order was the main dish of goat's and pancetta potato uuuuuu it was delicious. After we licked the fingers of a delicious goat's it was time to eat something sweet and served with smoked figs and chocolates. After we got out we went out to the yard of the property to hear the presentation of mushrooms from local

TRADITIONAL “MANEŠTRA” ON THE TABLE IN THE DEEP FOREST OF ŠPINOVCI NEAR KAROJBA

To get to Špinovci you need to drive through the deep forest and in the end, you will see the tavern, surrounded with the greenness of nature. We ordered traditional local specialties like prosciutto, goat cheese and carefully formed local wine. The prosciutto was a bit mashed but we didn't want to stop on that and we ordered "Maneštra". Maneštra was with a vegetable stew spring corn and and we put some olive oil and made delicious lunch. TWO TYPES OF SAUSAGES IN BRIČANCI ONE DRY ONE ON THE GRILL NEAR SVETVINČENAT

ISTRIADUCTION All Year | Working time: By Order | Free Entrance   Traveling to Pula we wanted to eat something typical Istrian food. Village Savičenta was the best choice to get off the road. The main topic in this unique story is two types of sausages one dry one on the grill. We want something good to eat in a typical Istrian village atmosphere, then our ideal destination was a Ondina Bričanci, only 1 kilometer from Svetvinčent. After we entered the tavern we noticed the only free table beside the fireplace. We were fortunate because at lunchtime there is a big interest of local people and tourists for visiting local taverns. We first looked at the menu and then we asked the host what is today best offer. After a few minutes, we knew what to order and what would heat our stomach and rehydrate our throat. We tasted typical Istrian dishes such as pasta, gnocchi, venison, smoked ham and cheese, dry sausages from white grey long-horned cattle (Boškarin) and sausages on the grill,  while as a drink domestic we chose Istrian Malvasia. DINNER WITHOUT LIGHT AND DRACULA IN KONOBA DANIJELI NEAR KRINGA

ISTRIADUCTION  All Year | Working time: 12-24h | Free Entrance We are located in the central Istra 1 km from Kringa, in Konoba Danijeli. The tavern is decorated in a rustic style and offers local Istrian specialties from boškarin, dishes under the lid and various homemade pasta. Kringa has famous vampire story dates back to 1672  about Jure Grando. The legend has it that in 1656, died Jure Grando who was buried on the local cemetery. After 20 minutes  electricity went missing and thoughts started that the legend did wake up. After a few jokes about Dracula  we fired the candles and started eating homemade ravioli with truffles, veal under the lid and gniocchi with the game.
