We visited tavern which is located in the village Jadruhi at Vižinada. We wanted to eat authentic and traditional dishes, prepared according to traditional recipes, so we made a reservation for Agritourism Jadruhi. First of all, we ate Istrian prosciutto, goat cheese, and delicious ham. After that, they offered us homemade pasta “pljukanci”, gnocchi, “maneštra” soup and medium rare beef with truffles we made a decision to try all. After a lunch, we drank a few homemade grappas with different flavors.
Tips: Try to order “Supa”, this is a specialty that consists of hot wine, usually Teran, which is enriched with olive oil, sugar, salt, pepper and a slice of overdone bread.
