You can park you car there, armed yourself with food and drinks and take a walk on wild side of river Mirna and Draga.
Offical rute : Buzet(Istarski Vodovod/ Istarska Pivovara – Favorit) – Selca – Glistonija – Kuhari – Kotli – Buzet (Istarski Vodovod/ Istarska Pivovara – Favorit). Marked with blue and red colour.
Above is offical route, but we did It our way 😉
It was not that easy to find the right way if you are not using mobile phone.
Even the trail is not marked in this way it is definetly worth seeing it.
The most difficult parts of trip are secured by ropes that make it easy to climb.
Highest point on the track is 281m.
It was sunny day, perfect for walk, at the bridge Mirna we went upstream to the north side of Mirna. After the first kilometer (+/-) you will notice a sign “ staza 7 slapova” and enter the forest where path leads to the rocky riverbed of Drage river. After entering the forest you will see the beauty of nature, decorated with waterfalls. That is probably the only thing which we did as per official route. 🙂 When we climb up to the top we turn right and went into forest, following the blue -red colour and sign Kotli, marked on the walking path. We end up in Kotli, when we realized we did it other way. As you know, what goes around comes around, no need to worry. Just go back to Kuhari – Glistonia – Šćaveti – Selca – Buzet. Feel free to ask local people to help you out.
In case, no locals on your route – http://www.istria-trails.com/en/trails/trails/128-ch-0?&l_over=1
