There was also ferry to Trget, but unfortunately no remain could be found. In Blaz there where many mills who are build with sea level, which is really rear to see. Remaining's of mills you can see today. Blaz was also known for water source. People from around villages come to Blaz for water. Nowadays, Blaz is uninhabited, but know to nature lovers. ISTRIADUCTION October | Working time: Weekend Event | Free Entrance October in Oprtalj is dedicated to Kestenijada. The first manifestation of this kind in Istria offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy this typical autumn fruit growing in the forests of the Oprtalj region. The event takes place in Oprtalj, in four differently different locations but interrelated with the theme of chestnut and riches of autumn fruit. On the square at the parish church pastry and pastry-bakery trades will present the sweet side of gastronomic offer on chestnut basis. Pastry workshops are also organized for all interested parties. At the same location, its products will be presented by producers of agricultural products from Oprtalj Municipality. There are two already traditional exhibitions, hunting trophies and mushrooms, and exhibition of works by participants of a small art colony. On the square at Lođe you can taste salty chestnut based dishes as well as mushroom and game boilers prepared in front of visitors. Raw and roasted chestnuts will be prepared and sold on several locations, along with a large bakery on the square in Lođe.
ISTRIADUCTION All Year | Working time: 0-24h | Free Entrance Roč wurde bereits in der Urgeschichte als befestigte Siedlung gegruendet. Im Mittelalter wurde eine Festbung erbaut, welche das erste Mal in Jahr 1064 erwaehnt wirf und als urbane Siedlung formierte es sich im Zeitraum zwischen dem 12. und dem 15. Jahrhundert zur Zeit der venezianishen Herrschaft. Roč war vom Mittelalter ganz bis zum 20. Jahrhundert einse der wichtigsten zentren des kroatischen Schrifttums, des Verlags-und Druckwesens, gegruendet auf der aeltest kroatischen Schirt, der „glagoljica“. In Roč wurde das erste kroatischen gedruckte Buch nach dem Messbuch des Fuersten Novak aus dem Jahr 1368 fuer den Druck vorbereitet, welcher sich zu dieser Zeit in Nugli befand. ISTRIADUCTION All Year | Working time: as per schedule | Ticket Railway station Pula build in 1876 was under the authority of Austria, Italy and Slovenia until 1991. when they are under the Croatia Railway. It was connected with local shipyard Uljanik in 1878., 1,3 km of railway. The traffic was significantly increase and in 1884. it was transported over 34t of cargo. Railway was very good connected with Trieste and Vienna. There was also a „green train“ to Slovenia. In 1904. Pula Railway Station was connected with city center with tram. Traditional festival of the snail is place where you can taste various snail specialties. Due to the highly prized meat snails dishes are considered a delicacy. Snails are prepared according to traditional recipes. During the day you have in the city a lot of things from photo exhibitions, different performance, race on ball bearing vehicle, bike tour, music, etc... One of traditional main event is as local call it “zamašćeni stup” , definitely have to see it. There is a lottery at end of the day (around 23:00 +/-), wait and see how lucky you are.
