The tavern Taj has the domestic ambient and it is on the nice location. Tavern offers inside place by the fireplace or outside in the shade of huge terrace. We took place on the terrace to catch some summer breeze. First of all, there you can eat prosciutto, Istrian cheese, and olives with olive oil. But this time we ordered “maneštra” traditional a vegetable stew from Istria and made with spring corn. Except that there you can eat fish or “calamari” and other fish dishes. The staff are really friendly and everything is on the net level. Inside the tavern, you can see traditional items and stone architecture of old house with the fireplace.
Tips: There you can eat raost or lamb under the baking lid and it is delicious.
