Fair in Vodnjan - Istrians say "Samanj" Every first Saturday of the month, a traditional fair, or "Samanj" as the residents of Vodnjan call it, takes place at the fairgrounds in Vodnjan. The fair offers a wide range of domestic products, clothes and shoes, souvenirs, medicinal and herbal products, cheese, vegetables, toys made of natural materials and many products for rural households and agriculture and farming. Betiga is a settlement one-kilometer northeast of the tourist settlement Barbariga, almost attached to Peroj. Über Spargel selbst und mehr über seine Eigenschaften können Sie hier lesen. Spargel im Frühling ist eines der ersten Dinge, die einem in den Sinn kommen, wenn wir über gastronomische Köstlichkeiten sprechen. Um Spargel zu einer Frittata oder einem anderen Gericht hinzuzufügen, müssen Sie einen kurzen Spaziergang in der Natur machen und einige wilde Spargelpflanzen pflücken. Für die eigentliche Spargelernte empfehlen wir Ihnen, Kleidung zu tragen, die nicht der neuesten Generation entspricht, da das Gelände und die Umgebung, in der sie sich befinden, oft dicht und schwer zu durchqueren sind. Für die Ernte selbst braucht es den Willen und ein bisschen Bewegung durch die Natur, die eine Kombination aus Erholung und Unterhaltung und schließlich gastronomischen Köstlichkeiten bietet. Es gibt verschiedene Theorien und Praktiken, wie man Spargel findet, aber eine der besseren Richtlinien besteht darin, dem Spargel, also dem Spargelstrauch selbst, zu folgen. Traditional festival of the snail is place where you can taste various snail specialties. Due to the highly prized meat snails dishes are considered a delicacy. During the day you have in the city a lot of things from photo exhibitions, different performance, race on ball bearing vehicle, bike tour, music, etc... It's a legend story about that little church with big miracles, and after visiting this place, locals said that miracles have been observed. The local people say, that there is a strong energy field going from Brijuni islands through the sea until to the Foška church. And it's not unusual that you see people are meditating to absorb energy. It's a place where heaven meets earth. We visited this unique church and one thing we can say, spiritual or not, the place touched us and left it's mark.
