Konoba Vorichi in Orihi near Barban
Konoba Vorichi is a gastronomic attraction that is often posted on social networks due to its wonderful vineyard setting and elegant decoration with fine details. In order for a person to completely relax in nature with a fine gastronomic offer, this is the tavern for such pleasure. Before finding the tavern, drive through the narrow streets of Orihi, which is located between the two more famous towns of Barban and Savičenta. Arriving in front of the tavern, there is a free parking lot for several vehicles, which is located in front of the tavern, right at the entrance to the beautiful courtyard of the tavern. The tavern has a few tables and should not be crowded because of the parking lot and space, but it is recommended to make a reservation in advance.
Tavern with Istrian wineyard
When you enter the courtyard of the tavern, the nature and elegance of the table decor, the wonderful lawn, the smell of the grill, swings for children and adults await you :). Next to the tavern itself, there is a well-kept lawn that leads to the vineyard, which is free for walking and taking photos, so that children, parents and children can freely enjoy and take photos with the Istrian “trs”.
Outside and inside the Tavern Vorichi
The tavern has wide open glass walls that allow the tavern to connect with nature and a permanent view of the vineyard, lawn and children playing. Chill zones have been set up on the lawn, allowing guests to relax with a welcome drink without stress or rush. You can reserve a table on the lawn, and inside the tavern there are several tables for larger occasions.
Delicious Food with details that makes the difference
The menu itself is printed on antique paper in an experience of Istrian decor and a variety of decor and motifs that emphasize the origin of the tavern, but with a touch of fine and elegant design. The gastronomic offer is specialized in several carefully selected meat and fish dishes for everyone. In order for everything to start in a welcoming environment, a greeting from the kitchen is given with a finger food delicacy of cheese and asparagus. At the very start, we recommend the Istrian platter of cured meat delicacies and mixed cheeses. All the products on the wooden board are delicacies originating from the Istrian peninsula, which represents the synergy and support of local producers from Istria. The menu includes a variety of fish and meat dishes made from gnocchi in homemade shugo, ravioli with hazelnuts, lightly stewed lamb, grill steak, ravioli stuffed with fish, delicious ribs, not too many dishes but carefully selected with the offer of homemade olive oil. The food is finely decorated with fine tastes and smells, and everything is accompanied by details and attention is paid to the details that make the difference.
Tips: After the main meal, of course, we go to the desserts, which are one of the stars of the gastronomic attraction in the tavern’s offer, and are highly recommended to try one, if not two pieces :)
