Guardian of Rovinj and its surroundings. The Turnina Tower was built on the site of a prehistoric hillfort. The tower was built in late antiquity, which is confirmed by the barrel vaults. It was supposedly called Arupinum in antiquity. It was first mentioned in 789, when it was destroyed.
