Upon entering the village, the road leads to the tavern itself, which has a large parking lot right next to the tavern. There are several tables on the terrace itself, but the fireplace and the antique interior are inside. The tavern itself seems to have been created in two parts: One part for guests who want intimacy and the other part where there is a dance hall with live music. As for food, the offer includes various delicacies such as homemade ravioli, gnocchi, boškarin and other homemade dishes from the Klarići kitchen. The history of the castle itself can be found on the official site of the castle. But the story is based on going to the castle with the family to spend a beautiful day. Parking is easy to find around the castle, next to the square where the stern is or behind the castle. The easy walk to the castle is surrounded by beautiful views of the castle itself and the meadow, which is normally used for various organizational occasions. There is an entrance fee to enter the castle, but you are allowed to use various props related to medieval life. FESTIVAL OF CHEESE AND GOATS IN SVETVINČENAT

In the center of Svetvinčenat, you can taste various cheeses: Goat milk cheese, sheep milk cheese, and cow milk cheese. In front of the castle of Morosini Grimani you can relax, buy and taste the best cheese of the Festival, the Champion of the festival. STONE HOUSE IN STANCIJA 1904 NEAR SVETVINČENAT

ISTRIADUCTION In May | Weekend | Free Entrance Welcome! A stone house was built in 1904 by the family Modrušan, in the village of Smoljanci near the renaissance town of Svetvinčenat. Two Modrušan brothers had many family members. Everybody was working hard and was taking care of the domestic animals, as pigs and goats. Also built in 1904, is the private residence and šterna (water tank), that represents a prime example of traditional Istrian architecture. In the past, the local villagers went to take water from the water tank. The water tank was at the time a precious good that only rich families could afford. We (family Moll) bought and renovated the stone house in 1999 till 2003. Stancija 1904, located in the idyllic village of Smoljanci is located in the heart of Istria. The word “Stancija” means newly-renovated and fully-equipped traditional Istrian accommodation surrounded by untouched nature. The Istrian tradition is not only seen in the architecture but also in our authentic Istrian cuisine. TWO TYPES OF SAUSAGES IN BRIČANCI ONE DRY ONE ON THE GRILL NEAR SVETVINČENAT

ISTRIADUCTION All Year | Working time: By Order | Free Entrance   Traveling to Pula we wanted to eat something typical Istrian food. Village Savičenta was the best choice to get off the road. The main topic in this unique story is two types of sausages one dry one on the grill. We wanted something good to eat in a typical Istrian village atmosphere, then our ideal destination was a Ondina Bričanci, only 1 kilometer from Svetvinčent. After we entered the tavern we noticed the only free table beside the fireplace. We were fortunate because at lunchtime there is a big interest of local people and tourists for visiting local taverns. We first looked at the menu and then we asked the host what is today best offer. After a few minutes, we knew what to order and what would heat our stomach and rehydrate our throat. We tasted typical Istrian dishes such as pasta, gnocchi, venison, smoked ham and cheese, dry sausages from white grey long-horned cattle (Boškarin) and sausages on the grill,  while as a drink domestic we chose Istrian Malvasia.
