MARLERA WITH LANTERA NEAR LIŽNJAN

ISTRIADUCTION March| All Year | Free Entrance Wanting to get away from everyday life and recharge my batteries, I decided to take a walk to a not so popular place; Cape Marlere. Cape Marlera is located on the southeast side of the Istrian peninsula near Pula, more precisely Liznjan. It is famous for the lighthouse called Lanterna. The interesting thing is that you can also experience the magic of life in the lighthouse because it is rented to tourists, but also to all those who want peace and the sea. A pebble path leads to the lighthouse, and around you can see fields of kale or cabbage, vineyards, and if you are lucky sheep or other animals and if you come in the spring like me, then you will surely enjoy the wild daffodil flowers of which there are thousands. And of course the sea. All in all, a beautiful promenade and something that is not an everyday tourist attraction. KALAVOJNA & LUKA BAY IN RAKALJ

ISTRIADUCTION In August | Weekend | Free Entrance The part of Istria that is definitely worth visiting in the summer months is definitely Rakalj. He delighted me. I was on two beaches; Kalavojni and Luki beaches. Kalavojna can be reached by car to the beach. On one side are huge rocks where people sunbathe, while on the other side of the shore are small pebbles with trees that create a pleasant shade when it gets hot. The sea is clean and beautiful blue. The best thing is that although the beach looks great, it is not crowded with people and it is always possible to find your own place to enjoy it. Luka beach is located towards Stari Rakalj. It can be reached in two ways. You can either leave the car on the road above the beach and walk to the bottom of the path (approx. 20min) or you can walk along the path of Sjepan Hauser, where the beach is then part of the path. Along the coast there is an old, sunken ship which is an attraction in itself, so it's cool to dive to it and explore it a

BIKE TRAIL “STARA FERATA” IN MOTOVUN

ISTRIADUCTION In May | Weekend | Free Entrance The "Stara Ferata" bike trail starts and ends at the foot of Motovun, a picturesque medieval town in the heart of the Istrian peninsula, and 21.3 km long leads you along the beautiful Parenzana route from Motovun to Vižinada, the green valley of the river Mirna and fairytale vineyards of Motovun. It was named after Parenzana, a former narrow-gauge railway (in operation from 1902 to 1935), and today a favorite cycling and hiking trail in Istria. The trail is moderately difficult (yellow mark) due to several ascents from the Mirna valley towards Brkač, while the rest of the trail is easy. You drive almost entirely on macadam (18.3 km), while the asphalt is only 3 km. It is not entirely marked with characters, so follow the GPX trail and instructions at: https://bit.ly/3cXnGiP. Take advantage of the beautiful spring weather to visit Motovun and ride through the green landscapes overlooking Motovun ? You can watch the promotional video trails here: https: /youtuu.bekO7e0SDsEE-A.

CATCHING “STRIJELKA” – BLUEFISH ON THE SOUTHWEST COAST OF FAŽANA

ISTRIADUCTION August - September | No Working time | Fishing Licence Along the southwestern coast, you can go hunting for bluefish. These active fish love the surface bait, so you need a rod, active hand and can be started. First of all, you need to make sure that you have strong lines because of sharp teeth that cut nylon. The resolution is the wire or very thick nylon. We picked up the location and set off with our equipment on our adventure and fishing stunts. Along with the classic equipment we also took old shoes to go in the water because of the very shallow water. After a few simulations of fish with our rod, we could see the bluefish tracking and after a few minutes, there goes the action. First of all, we saw the other fish coming out of the water because the fish was followed by the bluefish. And after a couple of seconds kick on our rod and it is time for action. It is necessary to make sure that the bluefish remain on the hook and it is not easy. After a few minutes of fighting the bluefish
