We wanted something good to eat in a typical Istrian village atmosphere, then our ideal destination was a Ondina Bričanci, only 1 kilometer from Svetvinčent. After we entered the tavern we noticed the only free table beside the fireplace. We were fortunate because at lunchtime there is a big interest of local people and tourists for visiting local taverns. We first looked at the menu and then we asked the host what is today best offer. After a few minutes, we knew what to order and what would heat our stomach and rehydrate our throat. DINNER WITHOUT LIGHT AND DRACULA IN KONOBA DANIJELI NEAR KRINGA

Kringa has famous vampire story dates back to 1672  about Jure Grando. The legend has it that in 1656, died Jure Grando who was buried on the local cemetery. After 20 minutes  electricity went missing and thoughts started that the legend did wake up.
