TWO TYPES OF SAUSAGES IN BRIČANCI ONE DRY ONE ON THE GRILL NEAR SVETVINČENAT
ISTRIADUCTION All Year | Working time: By Order | Free Entrance Traveling to Pula we wanted to eat something typical Istrian food. Village Savičenta was the best choice to get off the road. The main topic in this unique story is two types of sausages one dry one on the grill. We wanted something good to eat in a typical Istrian village atmosphere, then our ideal destination was a Ondina Bričanci, only 1 kilometer from Svetvinčent. After we entered the tavern we noticed the only free table beside the fireplace. We were fortunate because at lunchtime there is a big interest of local people and tourists for visiting local taverns. We first looked at the menu and then we asked the host what is today best offer. After a few minutes, we knew what to order and what would heat our stomach and rehydrate our throat. We tasted typical Istrian dishes such as pasta, gnocchi, venison, smoked ham and cheese, dry sausages from white grey long-horned cattle (Boškarin) and sausages on the grill, while as a drink domestic we chose Istrian Malvasia. All meals are prepared exclusively natural ingredients and are a
