WEDDING OF WILLEM VAN RUBROECK AND ADRIATIC SEA IN PULA

ISTRIADUCTION  In August | Time: 12h | Free Entrance Uljanik Shipyard in Pula was the right place to saw the big wedding of the self-propelled Cutter Suction Dredger Willem van Rubroeck and the Adriatic Sea. Mrs. Julie De Nul was the godmother and she released in the Adriatic sea this unique ship by cutting the traditional ties of the rope. In one moment the vessel with the length of 151.3 m, a width of 36 m launched in the sea and made the big wave in front of us. We were standing on the boat in front of the Willem bow and it was experienced that take the breath out.  This vessel will have a cutter power of 8,500kW and will be able to dredge compact sand, clay and rocks up to 45 m deep. Everything went well and Adriatic Sea said YESSS!!!!!
