Traditional festival of the snail is place where you can taste various snail specialties. Due to the highly prized meat snails dishes are considered a delicacy. Snails are prepared according to traditional recipes. During the day you have in the city a lot of things from photo exhibitions, different performance, race on ball bearing vehicle, bike tour, music, etc... One of traditional main event is as local call it “zamašćeni stup” , definitely have to see it. There is a lottery at end of the day (around 23:00 +/-), wait and see how lucky you are. TRADITIONAL “MANEŠTRA” ON THE TABLE IN THE DEEP FOREST OF ŠPINOVCI NEAR KAROJBA

ISTRIADUCTION  All Year | Working time: 8-23h | Free Entrance We wanted to taste the traditional local specialties and carefully formed local wines. So we decided to go in village Špinovci. To get to Špinovci you need to drive through the deep forest and in the end, you will see the tavern, surrounded with the greenness of nature. We ordered traditional local specialties like prosciutto, goat cheese and carefully formed local wine. The prosciutto was a bit mashed but we didn't want to stop on that and we ordered "Maneštra". Maneštra was with a vegetable stew spring corn and and we put some olive oil and made delicious lunch. Tips: Try to take a walk through olive tree garden and find a perfect view on Motovun hill. SWEET MEMORIES –TRADITIONAL GRANDMA RAVIOLI

ISTRIADUCTION Saturday morning jumped out of bed and put on my clothes. Got in my car and raced like I’m driving Formula 1, all the way to Grandma House. Knocked on the door with smile on my face looking at the Grandma place, Paz - Cerovlje. (Remix version of Magic – Rude) Hello, sweet child of mine, come on in and let’s make Ravioli with cheese. I’m going to show you how Grandma does it. Before we start wash your hands, put an apron and let’s get ready to rumble! It is Grandma home so you should know before we start there is going to be a plenty of Ravioli at the end, nobody is going home hungry. First we need to make Ravioli dough. Place flour mixture on a board (1kg.), making a well in the center of the flour. Beat the eggs (2 eggs) slightly and drop it into the flour well. Combine the eggs and flour together, adding enough water to make dough. Water should be lukewarm (not too cold and not too warm).Knead dough well, until it gets smooth. Cover the dough, so that cannot run away and start grinding cheese. Work
