Terms of Use

Welcome and thank you for being part of our magic, istriago.net. May the magic never end!  By using the web page Istriago.com ( “ Istriago”), you agree to be bound by the Terms. You shall also be subject to any additional terms posted with respect to individual sections or respect to the Istriago. If you do not agree, please discontinue using the Istriago. Istriago reserves the right to change the Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued access or use of the Istriago after such changes indicates your acceptance of the Terms as modified. It is your responsibility to review the Terms regularly. Your use and browsing of the Istriago is at your risk. If you are dissatisfied with any of the materials contained in the Istriago, with the quality of service, or with these Terms, your exclusive remedy is to discontinue accessing and using the Istriago.

Registriation (Log – In)

In order to use certain functionality of the Istriago, you must complete a registration process . As a registered user of the Istriago, you agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information about yourself which are mention under the registration form (“Become a local”), and maintain and promptly update your registration and datas to keep it true, accurate, current, and complete. Registration cannot be complete and used by person who are prohibited the use of services by Croatian and EU law. Upon completing the registration process, you shall receive confirmation of a password and user name. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password and user name, and you are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your password or user name. You agree to immediately notify Istriago (goistria@gmail.com) of any unauthorized use of your password or user name or any other breach of security. To avoid problem please exit from your account at the end of each session. Also defend, compensate (indemnity), and hold harmless Istriago from any loss or damage arising from unauthorized use of your password or user name.
By making your profile on Istriago.net you agree to the collection of your data, including, without limitation, and processing of such data by Istriago with your use of the Istriago. You consent to the technical processing and transmission involved in your use of the Istriago, including, without limitation, and you acknowledge that such process may involve transmission of such data over various networks.  Modifying such data to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices.

Your Conduct

Istriago would like to encourage an open exchange through photos, about places, activities and reviews. To share information, photos and adventures in Istria on the Istriago.net. You can expect the Istriago to include information and photos from a variety of individuals and organizations. Istriago neither endorses nor guarantees the accuracy of any of Your Content. Istriago may review Your Content from time to time and may take steps to remove inappropriate Your Content that comes to its attention. However, Istriago engages in no routine monitoring of Your Content on the Istriago.net.  You agree to assume full and sole responsibility for any Your Content you post to the Istriago, Post Your Content that is relevant to and appropriate for the specific topic and designed to help people and share your photos, information, adventures, short reviews  to supports Istriago mission. You represent that you are the owner of Your Content, or that you are making your submission with express consent of the owner, that you have obtained all third party releases and permissions necessary for Istriago use, and nothing you post will infringe on the rights of others. You give us permission to display Your Content on technology platforms operated by us and our partners.  You also allow us to identify you as the source of Your Content by name or your Istriago profile. You agree neither to post nor transmit any unlawful, obscene, defamatory, threatening, pornographic, harassing, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive Your Content, or Your Content that encourages conduct that would be considered a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, violate any law, or any other Your Content that infringes on the ability of others to enjoy the Istriago or is otherwise inappropriate; Refrain from posting any personal information of your own such  and from soliciting personal information from any user.  However, if you do choose to post any personal information it means that you are making that information public and allowing everyone to use and access that information, and to associate it with you (i.e. your user name and if applicable any profile photo); You agree neither to post nor transmit through the Istriago any Your Content that constitutes advertising or solicitation with respect to any product or service;  Also,  not post anonymously or impersonate any other person and  not to alter or modify any part of the Istriago, make no use that would interfere with or disrupt the Istriago or servers or networks connected to the Istriago, make none of Your Content available (whether through upload, post, email, transmit, or otherwise) that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files, or programs designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment, and neither circumvent nor disable any security or data-protection measures implemented by Istriago. You must provide and are solely responsible for all hardware and/or software necessary to access the Istriago. You assume the entire cost of and responsibility for any damage to, and all necessary maintenance, repair or correction of, that hardware and/or software.  Not to translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to discover any source code or underlying ideas or algorithms of the object code of any portion of the Istriago .Any attempt by any person to deliberately damage the site Istriago.net is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such attempt be made, Istriago reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Intellectual Property Issues

All of the content featured or displayed on the Services, including, but not limited to, still photos, text , video images, video, graphic designs, multimedia combinations, etc. is owned by Istriago. We claim no ownership of anything you post or upload and we’ll never sell it to a third party without your permission. You retain all copyrights which have been post or upload under your Content. You give us permission to display Your Content on technology platforms operated by us and our partners. (Including exhibition, shows, books, catalogue, etc.  Which are publishing or organize by us or our partners) you also allow us to identify you as the source of Your Content by name or your profile. If your photo is selected by us or our partner (to publish or use as cover) we would like to invite (depend what kind of occasion it is, for example exhibition, show, presentation, etc.) and inform you about it.  It is important that provided e-mail address or contact details are up to date. We take copyright very seriously. If you think you have suffered an infringement, please contact us immediately. You may only download Content that Istriago designates as offered for download to any single computer a single copy of any Content for personal and noncommercial use. To not reproduce, distribute, modify, re-post on another Service (regardless of the server on which the Content is stored), or sell any Content without specific written authorization from Istriago. You retain all of your ownership rights in material you upload, comments you post, or other content you provide to the Service. By uploading Your Content, however, you grant Istriago (which includes Istriago partners)  the following rights: a worldwide, perpetual license to display, distribute, reproduce, and create derivatives of Your Content, in whole or in part, without further review or participation from you, in any medium now existing or subsequently developed, in editorial, commercial, promotional, and trade uses in connection with the Istriago brand, Istriago Products, and channels on existing and future social media platforms (such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest, and subsequent new platforms). Istriago can share your photos and reviews to Istriago partners through any existing and future media, channels, or platforms. You also Istriago permission to use and authorize partners to use your name and any profile you provide in association with Your Content for identification, editorially, publicity related to Your Content or the Service, and for similar institutional promotional purposes. You also agree that Istriago may make Your Content available to users of the Service who may display and redistribute it in the same way that Istriago makes all other Content available.Istriago may use Your Content, without compensation to you, in direct promotion of, or otherwise strongly Istriago may exercise its rights to use Your Content in Istriago Products To enable Istriago to use Your Content in Istriago Products. Istriago may request you to provide Your Content in other formats, and if technically possible, you agree to provide Your Content in such other formats. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Istriago ; its affiliates and partners; and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, members, licensors, representatives, and third party providers to the Service from and against all losses, expenses, damages, and costs, including attorneys’ fees, resulting from any violation of these Terms. Istriago reserves the right to assume, at its sole expense, the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which event you will fully cooperate with Istriago. The Istriago Archive is subject to all of these Terms of Service, including particularly the commitment that you will not reproduce, distribute, modify, re-post on another Service (regardless of the server on which the Content is stored), or sell any Content without specific written authorization from Istriago
