City of Vodnjan
Vodnjan, located on the west coast of Istria in Croatia, is a charming town known for its rich history, cultural heritage and agricultural traditions. The town is located only ten kilometers north of Pula, the largest Istrian town, and enjoys a mild Mediterranean climate that favors the development of olive growing and viticulture.
Fair in Vodnjan – Istrians say “Samanj”
Every first Saturday of the month, a traditional fair, or “Samanj” as the residents of Vodnjan call it, takes place at the fairgrounds in Vodnjan. The fair offers a wide range of domestic products, clothes and shoes, souvenirs, medicinal and herbal products, cheese, vegetables, toys made of natural materials and many products for rural households and agriculture and farming.

– in summer: (IV – X months) from 06:00 to 18:00
